I’m flo, a Bronx-bred afro-indigenous ayitienne with a creative energy that seeks to fill every medium it can.
My journey began in 2012 when I decided to use poetry and photography as a force of flight via the Expanding the Walls program @ the Studio Museum in Harlem. It caught gust when I decided to nurture + transform my neurodivergence by utilizing crystals to connect to Spirit, rather than reject the flood of information that made me feel “crazy.”
11 years (and counting) of meditation, cleansing, shadow work and brutal honesty led to me flourishing with anxiety and OCD.
My dedication has gotten me accepted to Tin House, Roots. Wounds. Words., the LGBT Novel Immersive at Grubstreet, and into various communities where I am trusted to help people heal through poetry, divination, journeys, and herbal medicine.
I am a medicine worker, writer, earthworker, espiritista, and facilitator, whose FREQUENCI combines many worlds.
I work with those who contain multitudes. Those birthing new worlds. Those ready to work. Those with visions in their hearts and truth on their tongues. The insatiable who desire structure, support, and mutual space to thrive.
